The fact is that a lot of people who are in their late 20s or 30s are having a hard time getting a job. It’s not even all that uncommon. If you’re not employed and don’t have a degree, you’re probably going to have to work for at least a year to pay for college. The thing is, I am one of those people. This is my biggest challenge.
This problem is also on the rise. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), “the overall unemployment rate for Americans in the 18-29 age group was 8.7 percent in August 2011, a 4.8 percent increase from July, and the lowest level since January 2001.” As a result, even though I’m an engineer, my skills and experience aren’t as good as they would be if I were a college graduate.
The BLS says it’s because its in the middle of a recession, but it really isn’t. It doesn’t see the unemployment rate as it should.
A huge part of our lives is being in a hurry. This movie is in its second season, but it got us all into a muddle of sadness. It’s so hard to understand why we can’t get in and out of the car so often.
When you’re working on a project, what’s going on with your mind is the cause of problems for you. That makes you an engineer and you should get in or out of the car. If you’re not working on your project, be thankful for your brains.
