I am glad to see that tech companies have found new ways to take their products outside the house so they can be used in the kitchen. This is definitely something we need more of.
I am a big proponent of home automation and one of the reasons we’re so focused on getting all the devices in our house working is because we can control them remotely from our own homes. This is actually one of the benefits of the home vs. a home office—we can use the same devices in the kitchen, where we cook as well, and use them anywhere. We can also use them at the office or home gym.
But while that may sound cool, the reality is that there are a lot of products out there that are designed for the home, but aren’t actually very useful in the kitchen. For example, we have a digital pressure cooker that we use for making meals. It’s actually pretty nice when you can just drop a package of herbs in and have a steaming meal right away.
