I’ve heard that one before, but this one is especially accurate if you’re a mom or a wife. There are certain behaviors and patterns that we will take on in life that we will never forget. If you’re on the parent-child business, you might remember that you used to be more aware of your surroundings and how to behave yourself, but maybe not so much these days.
I’m not sure if I would say that I have an “once upon a child” memory, but I’ve certainly had a few myself. When I was in high school I remember being really aware of my every move, and always making sure that I was safe, and making sure I had a curfew.
Sometimes we just forget about the things that we do, and that doesn’t make us any less able to do that. I remember one time being a good parent and having a conversation with a young guy who I knew was a jerk that I’d rather not talk to.
The main reason I don’t get to use the website anymore is because it has been a while since I’ve used it. I’ve used it more than once, but I don’t think this is the reason my mom used to use it when she was younger. My mom was very busy but she was happy to see her new baby and would always give her permission to use it.

I think it’s because most of us are not in touch with the times we live in. For instance, back in the day, my wife and I used to live in a small town in Oregon. My job was to go out to the post office with my newspaper. I worked the early morning hours, so I would wake up at 5:30, and drive up to the post office in the dark. I would fill out the daily paper and take it back to my house.
And each time I’d drive back, I’d wonder, “What year is this? The post office didn’t even have a post office in 1982!” So I started a site.
