I’ve been talking about crownline boats for quite some time now, and they’re a long term goal for me. I’ve spent countless hours at my local lake researching different materials, styles, and boats. I’ve even spent countless hours designing my dream boat. The last one I designed was actually over a year ago now.
Ive been working on the crownline boat for over a year now, and its almost a year from completion, so Ive been working on it more and more. I’ll tell you the story of how I got it to where I am now, so you can see why its so important to me.

Crownline vessels are a bit of a tricky thing. The majority of boat builders use the crownline method of boat making. Because the hulls are made from one piece of fiberglass, the boat is shaped to look like a crownline. A crownline boat has two or four masts, and the hull can be as high as four stories. The hull is made from the same kind of wood used for the rest of the boat, called teak or elm.
The crownline method has been around for quite a few decades now. It’s a process that uses a series of wood bands, or “honeycomb,” as they’re known, to create a shape. The bands are set into the hull with a series of holes, leaving a template for a series of grooves that help join the two pieces of wood together. The bands are sewn together with metal thread, and the whole process is repeated.
The only catch might be that no one knows how to do the bands yet. There are a few different ways to do it, mainly using a laser cutter with a 3D print, but I’m not sure if there’s a way to do the bands with a 3D printer. I’m also not sure if they have a way to do it with a laser, either.
It’s still a lot of work though, and it’s a big step to make the bands work with a 3D printer. But since the process uses 3D printing, it could be done with 3D printers. The bands themselves are pretty nice though, and the whole process could be done with either one.
It’s quite a pain to do. Im not a big fan of their lasers, but I can’t get enough of them.
The same thing happens with the laser. Its all pretty nice though, and Im sure its not just about making it look nice.
