I’ll often hear, “I never go to the gym. I can’t be a gym rat.” There is no rational reason why one shouldn’t go to the gym. It’s just that we don’t. But the truth is that most of us are not going to be a gym rat.

So what if we are? Well, a gym is basically a place where people exercise. In fact, it’s basically a place where we exercise. As long as we exercise, then we are doing it. There are many different kinds of exercise that you can do at the gym. We can walk, we can run, we can swim. We can lift weights, we can do yoga, we can ride a bike, we can do a variety of other forms of exercise.

The truth is that you can do it all, but you need to set priorities. If you focus on cardio or strength training, you will never get into a state where you are comfortable with your own body. You need to focus on cardio or strength training because that is what helps you keep your body in the gym. Of course, you can do other forms of exercise, like a dance class, a dance studio, or yoga. But these are not the same as the gym.

This is a lot of advice that we’ve heard over the years, so it was interesting to see if this was all new.

Of course, there are other things you can do besides cardio and strength training, like a variety of other movements, like yoga, Pilates, and dance. But as a general rule, this type of exercise is not the same as the gym.
